Shell Island Beach Club

I just came home from Sanibel Island and our condo at this location was fantasic!!!!!!! We could not have asked for a better place. We were right on the beach and they even provided beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach towels. The pool wasn't open yet from the hurricane but you could see they had actively been working to restore the property. The staff in the office were remarkable!!!!!! As a travel agent i would highly recommend this facility for all my travelers going to Sanibel Island.

It was excellent. We booked the weekend of Labor Day. Everything was booked, so I took a chance and started calling randomly looking at the google map. Great choice from the beginning. I was helped by Lisa at Kenoyer Real Estate which is near them. I made a phone call and she gave me a great rate for a unit with two bedrooms, dining, living, balcony and full kitchen with washer and dryer. The place was immaculate clean, everywhere including around. We got in the office and the office staff was great. They gave us a map and told us where everygthing was. This resort is in front of the beach and near the lighthouse which is very convenient. They have tennis courts and free bikes available at all times. They also have water floats and water balls. The pool was very clean and there was grills around which we made hamburgers. We also used the kitchen and the kitchen was very clean. Will be back for sure next year for a whole week. Lots of places to go around also.

The timeshare that we stay in every year is so beautiful! We have two different units with two different views and they're both fantastic. The staff is super helpful! We love the location being right near the lighthouse. The beaches are spectacular. It's nice to have a beautiful place to stay just in case something crazy happens like the red tide did to us this summer. We had to spend a lot of time at the pool and in our condo instead of at the beach. We were very thankful for a fabulous pool and a clean, open, airy unit with a screened-in Lanai to spend some of our daytime hours then.

They think of everything you might need here! They have bikes, beach chairs, towels (for a deposit they give back to you), games, grills, a pool, screened in porches, a great view, are close to the beach, and great service. They also provide laundry detergent for the one you have in unit, dish detergent, paper towels, and more! It was a great stay!

Loved our time on Sanibel! Shell Island beach club is wonderfully located, peaceful and beautiful. There is a boardwalk straight to the beach making access back and forth to our room seamless. The beach was not crowded at all and extremely enjoyable! Wonderful shelling, hundreds of sand dollars, and we saw dolphins multiple times! About a half mile walk to the light house too! They are still recovering from the hurricane so there was some construction and the pool was still closed. However, that didn’t impact the rating or our stay. The rooms were extremely clean, spacious, and quiet. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels all included with the room which was quiet helpful. It was a wonderful visit and I’m so glad we chose to stay there!

Always has been and always will be one of our favorite places. It has the beautiful sandy shores of Sanibel Island, FL, the wonderful sound of the palms rustling in the breeze and the gorgeous climate in the winter months. The pools and hot tubes are always clean and welcoming. You can play tennis on the well kept courts and the accommodations are updated and very nice. The complementary bikes are also a big win!

Nice place with decent pricing. Great pool and jacuzzi area. Rooms are a bit dated and they could use some new (softer) mattresses and bedspreads. Also a better selection of kitchen utensils, but great overall.

We haven't been to Sanibel in a couple of years because of the devastation from the storms. While they are still working things out, our stay was still remarkable! Leandro was super friendly and helpful if we needed anything. The renovations look great so far... it was nice to be back!
